Tigh Na Sith (Gaelic meaning - The House of Peace)

Our Guest House is located in an elevated position overlooking the Lochinver Bay, with magnificent views of the harbour, across the Minch, towards the Western Isles.

Our location is a few minutes walking distance, from all of the local amenities, bank, post office, restaurants, bars, hotels, Tourist Information Centre, village hall & shops. We are only a short drive, walk or cycle (3 miles) from the nearest sandy beach. Additionally situated in our own private grounds we have ample car parking.

We offer three spacious and comfortable en-suite rooms.

On the ground floor we have "Minch" our superior double and "Munro" our twin bedded room.

On the first floor is "Eagle View" our largest, extremely spacious double room.

We have a large and comfortable guest lounge which has spectacular views of Lochinver harbour, the sea loch and over the Minch to the Western Isles beyond, where our guests can relax and unwind after a day exploring the many activities that the area has to offer.

In our lounge you will find a selection of interesting "local themed" books for guest use during their stay. In each bedroom as well as all of the necessities, there are binoculars just in case you want to survey the surrounding scenery or zoom in on a particularly interesting bird or deer (regular visitors near to and in the garden).

We have an excellent drying/utility room so whatever the activity we can dry out and store your equipment from walking boots and waterproofs, to fishing rods and cycling equipment.

All areas in the house and the outdoor loch view seating area benefit from our FREE wireless internet connection.
